Sarah graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, University of London in 1988 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine and gained a Certificate in Veterinary Dermatology, awarded by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, in 1995.

Sarah works part time at the University of Nottingham Veterinary School and provides a mobile dermatology referral service to veterinary practices in Staffordshire.  She is available to see cases at Meir Park Veterinary Hospital.

Here at Meir Park Veterinary Hospital, we are able to offer a multidisciplinary approach to your pets with RCVS certificate holders in medicine and surgery on site, with the addition of cardiology and dermatology certificate holders if required. This means that we offer our referral clients a collaborative and supportive approach to the investigation and treatment of complex medical and surgical problems in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.

We are able to offer friendly and free case advice to referring vets to help where we can. This includes free interpretation of x-rays.

We realise that some cases will inevitably require the input of a diplomat specialist and we will try to advise where this is appropriate.

Our facilities include; high powered digital x ray, high definition ultrasound, endoscopy, dedicated orthopaedic and soft tissue theatres, modern surgical instrumentation and patient monitoring, 24/7 hospital nursing.

As we have a purpose built site with 24 hour nursing meaning that patients will be well looked after around the clock. We also provide our own out of hours care with our regular staff so that case continuity can be maintained.

We  understand the importance of maintaining contact and case continuity. For this reason we will make every effort to return cases back to their primary veterinary care as soon as possible after investigation and treatment.

It is made clear to all referred clients that registering with us for primary care is prohibited.
